Our Activities

Intouch Health Science Centre conducted medical fitness check-up and issued fitness certificate for 354 students of Asufu Christian Institute. The camp was carried out with the aim tocreate awareness of both physical and mental health among college going students.
A free “Pre-Christmas” health camp was organized with the Doctors from Oking Hospital on the 23rd November 2017. In this camp cardiac and hypertensive patients were screened. 82 patients benefited from this camp.

In association with Aashray-Durg Bahu-Uddeshiy Samajeek Sanstha, deworming program for the children was conducted in Navapur block. This was done with the aim of helping children suffering from malnourishment and worm infestations.

A free medical health camp was conducted on 17th and 18th August 2017 in collaboration with Aashray-DurgBahu-UddeshiySamajikSanstha, an associate organization of JVGCT and Local Group Grampanchayat, Nagziri- Waghlapada.
Doctors from Medicare Surgery and Dental Hospital, Nandurbar came and gave their service to the patients for this camp.
980 individuals were benefited from this camp. About 60 patients were referred for further treatment.

In collaboration with Jubilant Life Sciences Limited, one day health camp at Rotary Adivasi School, Thakurpada village, Ambernath MIDC was conducted for the benefit of children of this school and their parents. Through this health camp, Deworming tablets were given to the students. Iron, Folic Acid, Calcium and Vitamin tablets and other necessary medicines like cough syrupetc were are also provided. Height, Weight, Blood pressure etc were checked and recorded too. 154 school students have benefited by this camp

Special medical check-up was conducted at Khand-Saee village in the month of September. Though MMU covers and visits most of the villages, some area doesn't have road connectivity. Khand-Saee is one such village where road connectivity is not there, health camp was conducted in association with Mathura Foundation.

The health of children and youth is of fundamental importance Good nutrition is a basic requirement for good health. This campaign aim to improve the nutritional status and health of children especially under-three years of age and consequently reduce infant and under-five mortality. Specifically, its objectives were to improve, protect and promote infant and young child feeding practices, increase commitment at all levels, provide a supportive environment and ensure its sustainability.

In association with RajmataJijau Mother-Child health & Nutrition Mission, demonstration of kitchen garden was conducted in the month of August.75 Community elders from different villages attended. For this program, information were shared through virtual media, images and a practical module later on. Seeds, plants and tree saplings were also distributed to villagers to implement this activity in their own respective villages.
Community luncheon was arranged in the latter day.
Follow up was done at regular intervals after the successful demonstration program.

Sweaters were distributed to 100 Children of ashramshala(tribal boarding school). JVGCT in association with Noble Hygiene carried out this activity.

Under CSR initiative of Heligo Charters Pvt.Ltd, periodic health camps are conducted once in a week at different villages of Alibaug, Raigad District, Maharashtra. Medicines were given for free of cost to the patients during these camps.

In association with Sudhatai Oak Pratisthan / Ashwini Hospital, Chaul, periodic blood donation camps are conducted at Ashwini Hospital and various other locations.
